the association of the Amis du Château de Langoiran since many years

he Bank Banque Populaire du Sud – Ouest brings a very useful support
too to the association. In 2004 the castle of Langoiran won a competition
the bank BPSO organized and got the prize of "Heritage of Gironde".
What is more, it was recently chosen to illustrate the investments of the
bank in heritage, through a mini-report on television

The association of the Amis du Château is part of the association Pierres
et Mémoires en Aquitaine (road of historical towns and castles). Robert
Bibonne is its president.
- Association des maires et élus occitans
Robert Bibonne was the mayor of Langoiran during many years. As such, he entered
this association of mayors working on the protection of the occitan, which
is the ancient language in southern France. The castle of Langoiran was the
registered office of this association in 2001. The association of the Amis
du Château de Langoiran actively participates in this protection of
the occitan. For instance, the occitan has an important part in the animations
organized in the castle.
